The Gallery was established in 1982, and is situated in the heart of the beautiful and historic county town of Sherborne, Dorset, with its famous medieval Abbey and two castles. Our diverse stock of prints, maps, watercolours and oil paintings attracts collectors from all over the world.Simon Lamb has been dealing in watercolours and oil paintings for over 25 years. Kristina trained at Camberwell School of Art and has over 20 years of experience in the restoration of works on paper. We also provide the services of an outstanding restorer of oil painting. Christopher Lamb has also recently joined the family business.

There are watercolour and oil painting galleries, map and print shops, framing and restoration studios, but nowhere else in Britain to our knowledge will you find them all under one roof. The whole makes for an absorbing, edifying and educating experience. Be sure to leave plenty of time to look around if you can.

Remember, all the paintings, maps and prints represented here are original, not reproduction. They are guaranteed by us to be as stated, and where painting authorship is less certain, prefixes such as 'attributed to', circle of, after, or follower of are used (in the same fashion as auction rooms.)
